Club Governance
Helping your not-for-profit club or group understand their legal and ethical responsibilities, which underpins all your club operations. Kim can help review, develop and/or audit your key governance documents such as constitutions, bylaws and policies. It ain’t sexy but it’s essential in increasingly complex and compliant times.

Strategic Club ‘Futures’ Planning
Most clubs understand the importance of planning – where is the club now, where does it want to be in the future and, most importantly, what needs to be done to help get it there. Strategic planning is fast becoming an essential piece of work to help build resilience into the future. KBC has developed an action-packed, systematic process of engaging members and identifying and addressing the half dozen most important things that your club must get right if it is to prosper in the next few years.

Sport and Community Volunteers Training
KBC offers simple, practical and interactive face to face short workshops and courses developed specifically for the busy sport volunteer. From years of experience in the sector, KBC has seen first-hand how these practical sessions can make busy volunteer lives more manageable and even fun! These training courses can also be blended with some online learning, through ClubWorks.

Club Management
Though there are thousands of generic club documents, tools and templates online who has the time or inclination to scroll through these to find the little gems. Kim can help direct volunteers to the most useful tools and can help build practical and specific templates to make your club roles that much easier.

Organisational Development
As clubs grow in size and complexity, they need to make sure they stay contemporary, competitive and sustainable. KBC is often called upon to impartially facilitate a way-forward for clubs who are transitioning to a multi-sport, or shared/co-located model of management. Change can be the biggest concern, so KBC will look for win/win situations where all groups can share the space, with a common goal and clear purpose.

ClubWorks
Pre-Covid, KBC started working with the iClick2Learn Team to develop some short online sport club volunteer training courses. As we know, they don’t replace that face-to-face contact, but for a small fee to the Club, are an good starting point for volunteer training. Each course is offered in bit-size pieces to be completed in your own time, your own pace and in your own space. Spend the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee to jump online and complete these short courses. It’s that simple and you get a free ‘one-phone-a-friend’ offer (directly to me) when you join up (for a small fee). Or impress your committee and add a 3 minute slot to the agenda and share the training.

In addition, you get free access to a variety of online short courses, offered through iClick2Learn when you register your Club.

When we get through this challenging period, sport (and community) will play a prominent role in lifting the nation’s energy and spirits again.
