Club Governance
An update to the Association Incorporation Act in 2015 provided an opportunity for many clubs to review their (rules) constitution to bring it into alignment with the new Act and their mode of governance. Often, as part of a broader club governance conversation and support, KBC has assisted over 200 incorporated groups including sports clubs, community and social groups, school and special interest group and collaborative joint-share facility management groups. Tambellup Community Pavilion Association and Management Plan
Working with the Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup, KBC helped to establish a Tambellup Community Pavilion Association, with strong representation from the various clubs and groups and a supporting management plan for the new Tambellup Community Pavilion to become a welcoming and inclusive community place for sport, business and social gatherings within Tambellup.
Great Southern Grammar Game Changer Project
Working with staff and sport volunteers from within Great Southern Grammar, the project identified and developed the Great Southern Griffins Sports Club, under Great Southern Grammar Inc.
Eaton Boomers Football Club and Eaton Sports Club
The review and recommendations to the Shire of Dardanup on an Eaton Sports Club/Eaton Boomers Football Club Management Plan.
Frankland River Country Club Needs Assessment and Feasibility Study
Frankland River Country Club Needs Assessment and Feasibility Study – for the Shire of Cranbrook – (with Greg McLennan and Steve Mason) This included a review and amendments to the constitution and update of the governance model for the Country Club
Great Southern Cricket Future Directions Project
Working with the West Australian Cricket Association and local cricket clubs and interested supporters, the review and confirmation of the directions for cricket in the Great Southern region.
